POLAR OBJECTIVE

Ice is pulled from the environment and shaped into photographic optics which are placed into a hand-made lens which is then used to photograph the landscape.  Each ice optic is unique and irreplaceable, just like the landscapes photographed. As with the polar landscapes, the lenses will melt and disappear. Viewing the land through a piece of itself offers an intimate interpretation of the region
